In February 2022,  with Good Things Collective, a plan was hatched  to publish a Morecambe Art & Info Zine, an alternative news feed to the world of social media.
We called it "The Morecambe Sundae Art Zine" and the idea of having a Riso press in Morecambe grew into The Morecambe Community Riso Press Crowdfunder.
A gang of us headed to Team Trident Press to learn about, and print
the Zine on their Risograph machine.
We Crowd funded, and in Oct 2022 , and with support from Good Things Collective, became a CIC. 
By March 23 we had raised enough to buy a Riso Machine.
In collaboration with Mad Zines, Good Things & The Gregson Centre
we formed the Morecambe & Lancaster Zine Library.
In our first year we ran  16  Zine Making Sessions and
13  Riso Printing Workshops, engaging with over 500 people from our community and beyond!
